Our Glucosamine HCl is a non-shellfish Glucosamine HCl which allow people with high blood pressure to take this product as the is no added salts. Also, people with diabetes can also take this product as there are no added sugars either.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound and nutriional compound in many foods. The chemical name for MSM is dimethyl sulfoxide, or DMSO2. It is the oxidized metabolite of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), and it looks to have all the properties of the parent compound’s therapeutic properties.
MSM is part of the family of compounds that are in the food supply of land and ocean life. This sulfur-containing nutrient is the stable end product of the methyl-S-methane series of compounds that provide bioavailable sulfur to about 85 percent of all living organisms. This is mostly dimethyl sulfide (DMS) which is the Earth’s primary sources for sulfur.
The sulfur cycle begins in the ocean, where algae and phytoplankton release sulfur compounds, called tertiary dimethylsulfonium salts. These salts are transformed to DMS, a highly volatile compound. In the presence of ozone and ultra-violet light, DMS is converted into DMSO and MSM, both of which, unlike DMS are soluble in water.
